As the NFL draft moves closer and closer, it has become a near certainty that the New York Jets are unlikely to find a trade partner for quarterback Tim Tebow. One report suggests however that the Seattle Seahawks briefly entertained the idea of acquiring Tebow from the Jets. According to The Seattle Times, the Seahawks did look into the possibility of adding Tim Tebow to the roster although the newspaper believes that option is off the table at the current time. Seattle is now in the market for a backup quarterback after trading Matt Flynn to the Oakland Raiders last week. According to The Times, the Seahawks are going to look at veterans Seneca Wallace and Tyler Thigpen next week and could expand that list to include Brady Quinn and Matt Leinart later on as well. Other than Wallace, none of these options really seem to fit the offensive scheme the Seahawks run.
