After initially saying that after Colin Kaepernick became the starting quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers, it felt as if “someone took the handcuffs off me,” tight end Vernon Davis is now saying that he and Kaepernick are not on the same page.
Of course, if you looked inside the numbers over the past few games, you could have figured that out for yourself.
“We don’t have it [chemistry],” Davis said, according to The Sacramento Bee. “You have to expect [that because] he just stepped in. Me and Alex — we’ve been there. It takes time. It took time for me and Alex to get like that. It’s like it’s starting all over again, especially for me.”
