Indianapolis Colts owner Jim Irsay loves Twitter. He is the king of social media in the NFL owners world. He frequents the Twitterverse, often challenging fans with trivia questions, quotes random song lyrics and giving team updates at all hours of the day. Yesterday, in typical fashion, Irsay used the 140-charatcer platform to let the world know that the Colts were interested in acquiring a veteran player via trade. Who could that player be?
The first name which was attached to a trade possibility was Jacksonville Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew. Jones-Drew has stated that he would welcome a trade in order to complete his desire to obtain a long-term deal. I think that the Jaguars trading Jones-Drew to a divisional opponent would be highly unlikely. However, who would have ever thought that the Philadelphia Eagles would trade QB Donovan McNabb to the Washington Redskins.
