For the past two years now, Ndamukong Suh has left quite an impression during the Detroit Lions’ Thanksgiving Day football games. It has been an NFL tradition for years for the Lions to host the first game of the afternoon, although it has not gone well for the home team over the past couple of decades. But as bad as it has been for them, it has been even worse for their opponents.
At least the ones who have had to have played against Suh, who clearly hates Thanksgiving.
I’m not sure what it is with the former standout from the Nebraska Cornhuskers. Maybe something bad happened to him when he was younger on Thanksgiving, and now he is simply letting out his anger and aggression and frustration on his opponents. Maybe he was like Matthew Perry’s character on the classic sitcom Friends, who always suffered through some of the most miserable Thanksgivings, leading him to not even celebrate the holiday any longer. Perhaps, Suh has had some brutal Thanksgivings over his lifetime.
