The Minnesota Vikings hope that they have landed a receiver to replace Percy Harvin after signing former Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings. Jennings has dealt with injury issues over the past two seasons but that did not hinder the Vikings from inking Jennings to a deal that will pay him $9 million per year. It appears now that Jennings had another suitor and turned them down because he said he didn’t feel wanted. Bob McGinn of jsonline.com reports that Jennings turned down an offer from the New England Patriots. Mr. McGinn reports that the Patriots offer was around $6 million while the Green Bay Packers offered a deal worth $8 million. One has to wonder if Jennings really was simply all about the money. Mr. McGinn reminds us that Jennings turned down an offer of $11 million per year in 2012 after wanting $15 million per season. If he was really interested in wanting a championship, remaining with the Packers or joining the Patriots with Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady respe...

GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Greg Jennings is no longer a member of the Green Bay Packers. Greg Jennings signs with Vikings

Just ask the man.  He's not old.  Greg Jennings, who has bounced from the Green Bay Packers to the Minnesota Vikings, has had an injury-plagued recent history.  He's getting up there in age, too.  But don't tell him that.  The Minnesota Vikings don't seem to mind either. Packers were right to let Jennings go
