According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the NFL has suspended Denver Broncos linebacker Joe Mays for one game for his helmet to helmet hit on Texans quarterback Matt Schaub this past Sunday. Mays is appealing his suspension.  So he’ll be able to play until the appeals process is over.
