The NFL has suspended Indianapolis Colts Lavon Brazill for one year after he violated the NFL Policy & Program for Substance and Abuse.Last year, Lavon Brazill was suspended for the first 4 games of the season for violating the very same policy he violated today. Brazill was a key depth player last season for the Colts and even had some good games in the playoffs. It was expected that he would come in and have a similar role with the Colts this season. That won't be the case. With Brazill out for the season, it means that guys like Da'Rick Rogers and Griff Whalen will have easier (not easy) chances of making the roster. The Colts are expected to keep either 5 or 6 receivers and without Brazill, the top 6 is pretty easy to distinguish. Brazill will now have to sit out this season and come back next year where he will be in his contract year.
