The NFL has suspended linebacker D.J. Williams, defensive tackle Ryan McBean and tight end Virgil Green of the Denver Broncos for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing drugs on Friday.McBean and Williams are suspended for the first six of the 2012 season and Green is banned for the team's first four games.Williams and McBean both denied taking any performance-enhancing substances in statements and are considering a lawsuit against the NFL.Green issued a statement regarding his suspension to ESPN's Josina Anderson."I was suspended for four games for taking ADHD medication prior to obtaining an exemption from the league...I apologize to my teammates, coaches and fans for my mistake and will sure to never let anything like this happen again," said Green.All three players are suspended without pay.
