Indianapolis Colts quarterback Andrew Luck can take solace in the fact that the NFL has informed the team that the call of his interception by Will Witherspoon should have been reversed, according to the Indianapolis Star.
Luck's knee was down, but the official on the field apparently did not get to see the camera angle that showed that on a play that Witherspoon returned 40 yards for a touchdown. The play should have been a sack for Titans defensive end Derrick Morgan, putting the Colts in a fourth down situation.
Fortunately for the Colts, they were able to rally and win the game, and with Indy in the thick of the playoff chase, the last thing the Colts or the league wants is a game being decided by a blown call. It has already happened with the replacement refs this year in the Seattle-Green Bay game. Source: National Football Post Attached Thumbnails

It seems to be the “Year of the Rookie Quarterbacks.” Everyone’s talking about it. Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III, Russell Wilson, Ryan Tannehill and Brandon Weeden are making headlines this season. The only year that compares to this one is that infamous class of ’83. Six first round picks; John Elway, Dan Marino, Jim Kelly, Tony Eason, Todd Blackledge and Ken O’Brien...
Interim Indianapolis Colts head coach Bruce Arians can relate to his friend Chuck Pagano.
Five years ago, it was Arians who received some bad news from his doctor. He had prostate cancer. He successfully battled it of course, but it really hit home when he received the news from Pagano during the team's bye week.
"He had missed Thursday in the office, so I said, '...

It seems that the Indianapolis Colts aren’t comfortable in a game until they are down by a couple of touchdowns, doesn’t it? In what has become the norm this season, Andrew Luck and the Colts overcame yet another slow start and a 20-7 halftime deficit to comeback and win 27-23.
The victory send the Colts to a 9-4 record, clinching a winning season that no one thought possible...

Jerraud Powers last start for the Indianapolis Colts was Nov. 4 against Miami when he suffered a season-ending toe injury. Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star reports Powers who will be a free-agent at the end of the season may have played his last game for the Colts.
Terrible time, but it is what it is, he said of the injury. At first I was worried a little bit because...
Written By Clifford Santa Monica, If Andrew Luck has an accurate arm with 18 interceptions (and three games remaining in the season), what adjective would you use to describe Robert Griffin’s arm who’s only thrown four? Who’s the best rookie qb in the NFL this year? I’m with Don Shula on this one. To me, it’s RG111 because of his rare combination of brains, poise, arm...

Colts interim head coach Bruce Arians mentioned that RB Vick Ballard will in fact handle the majority of the team’s carries against the Houston Texans this weekend.
“As long as he can stay in there he’ll stay in there and when he needs to tap out, Mewelde will go in,” Arians said, via the Indianapolis Star.
The Colts were forced to sign two free agent running backs (Mewelde...

This is a team that is not nearly as good as their record, but record is all that will matter when the season ends and the playoffs start. They have 9 wins right now and an easy game against the Chiefs to give them 10. In fact, in the AFC, 9 would probably get them a...

A win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday would clinch a second straight AFC South title for the playoff-bound Houston Texans. A loss makes the division race much more interesting.

Week 15 and a matchup against the long-time-anxiety-causing Indianapolis Colts looms. The Colts don’t have the same ability to strike fear in the hearts of Texans these days like they did with Peyton in charge. But the Texans haven’t faced the Andrew Luck-led Colts yet. While not a lot is frightening on paper about the 2012 Colts versus the 2012 Texans, this team has troubling...
