The NFL on Monday will review Detroit Lions defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh's kick to the groin of Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub. The incident occured in the first quarter of Thursday's game when Suh, blocked by an offensive lineman to the ground, reached out with his left foot and connected with Schaub in the groin area. It's uncertain whether Suh's actions were intentional. USA Today reported Sunday that Merton Hanks, a league vice president, will conduct the initial review. Ray Anderson, the league's vice president of football operations, will also review it along with two other high-ranking league officials, Joel Bussert and Ronnie Hill. Anderson told USA Today that the incident will be looked at from every possible camera angle. "From my personal point of view, it was unusual, to say the least," Anderson said of the incident. "Don't know if it was a football move I've ever seen." Suh was involved in another Thanksgiving game incident in 2011 when he got suspended two games for stomping on Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith. Suh could be disciplined again. "No judgment has been made," Anderson said. "We'll go through the process. Certainly, a player's history is factored in." Suh was named the NFL's dirtiest player in a players' poll taken by The Sporting News. He has declined to talk about Thursday's incident.
