The Cleveland Browns pulled off the rumored trade on Friday night with the Miami Dolphins that adds a veteran presence to their roster at the wide receiver position by adding Davone Bess. Bess, who has average 50 receptions for per season in his career, became the odd receiver out in the Dolphins plans this season after a slew of offseason moves. Miami added free agents Brandon Gibson along with Mike Wallace while re-signing Brian Hartline earlier this year. In exchange for Bess, Miami receives the Browns fourth-round pick (104) and their seventh-round pick (164) while Miami sent their fourth-round selection (111) and a seventh-rounder (217) along with Bess. The receiver position has been an issue for several seasons for the Browns but it appears that they have turned the corner while making upgrades to the position in recent years.
