The NFL has warned Chicago Bears running back Marion Barber that he will be fined if he continues to evade the media.
Barber was not available after Sunday's 13-10 overtime loss at Denver, a game in which he made two huge gaffes to help the Broncos pull out the victory.
The veteran running back also would not talk with reporters following Wednesday's practice.
Barber, who started in place of an injured Matt Forte last week, ran out of bounds with under two minutes to play when the Bears were trying to run out the clock and Denver out of timeouts.
The extra time gave the Broncos time to move into position for a game-tying field goal that forced overtime.
Barber then fumbled with the Bears moving toward a go-ahead field goal, and the Broncos converted the turnover into a winning field goal.
The loss dropped Chicago (7-6) one game behind Detroit and Atlanta for the final wild card spot in the NFC.
