NFL Week 2 Preview By SBRForum.com The second week of preseason is upon us as teams are preparing to get their rosters in good shape for the start of the real thing. To start things off, Atlanta will play Cincinnati and Green Bay will battle Cleveland on Thursday. The Packers will be obvious favorites on the NFL odds board for their game against the Browns, who have a ton of question marks heading into the season. Who starts at quarterback? Will first round draft pick Trent Richardson be ready for the start of the season? On Friday, there are six games scheduled. We're probably most intrigued by Tampa bay versus Tennessee and Arizona against Oakland, and that's mainly because of the quarterback battles for both the Titans and Cardinals. Matt Hasselbeck and Jake Locker are competing for the starting job in Tennessee, while it appears John Skelton may beat out Kevin Kolb for the gig in Arizona. Baltimore's home game with Detroit should also be quite a treat to watch. The Lions are known of course for their offensive prowess, while the Ravens have a bunch of hard-hitters on defense. Saturday sees a New York slugfest featuring the Jets and Giants, while San Diego takes on Dallas and Denver hosts Seattle. There's also an interesting NFL matchup featuring Houston and San Francisco. The action doesn't stop there as Sunday we'll witness Andrew Luck's second game as a pro. He'll probably have a much more difficult time this time around against a formidable Steelers defense. Luck was the story of the first week of the preseason, tormenting the St. Louis rams for two touchdowns. Finally, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots will entertain the Philadelphia Eagles on Monday night. It should be another busy week of preseason football. One week closer to the start of the real thing!
