After an exciting but tragic loss to the Detroit Lions, the St. Louis Rams will head home to take on the media frenzied Washington Redskins. The Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis will play host to Robert Griffin III and the revitalized Redskin offense. Coming off a 40 point opener, and a big win against the New Orléans Saints, Washington is favored against an injured Rams team. If the Rams have any chance to beat Washington it will come down to three key events.

Number one: The Rams defense played very well for 52 minutes last week, and if they can play 60 minutes this week, they could impact the game against the Redskins rookie quarterback. Taking three picks from Matthew Stafford last week, they could do the same to RG3 who is less experienced, and less accurate than Stafford. To do this they will have to do better than the one sack they produced last week and get pressure on the Washington phenom quarterback. The Rams have a better defense than the Saints, and they will have to score points for the Rams as well as force turnovers, if they are to have any chance of beating Washington. The Rams Secondary has to defend the long pass well, if the Redskins are allowed to score as quickly as they did against the Saints, the Rams will have no chance in this game.… Read more
