TAMPA BAY (38) d KANSAS CITY (10) The Headline: Buccaneers pound sorry Chiefs The Story: An impressive defensive performance combined with the good side of the offense coming out to play lead to a resounding 28 point win for the Buccaneers who moved to 2-3 on the season. After winning their first game, the Buccaneers had struggled, losing their last three but the battered, bruised and demoralised Chiefs were just what they needed to get back in the winners’ circle. A slow first half had the game on a knife’s edge but the second half was all Tampa Bay as they outscored their opponents 31-7 featuring a defensive touchdown by Ronde Barber who is still getting it done despite his advanced years. For the Chiefs it was tough going all around as they were without their starting quarterback Matt Cassel, who had been criticised for his ineffectiveness so far this year. His replacement Brady Quinn was not much better only throwing for 180 yards and being intercepted twice. There was not much...

Don't laugh, your team may be next

Don't ridicule Kansas City Chiefs fans. This is where professional sports are headed. The disconnect between...
