Tom Brady needs to raise his production level in Week 8 against the Dolphins
Referees aside, Tom Brady and the Patriots did not execute well enough to earn a victory against the Jets in the controversial finish at Metlife Stadium last week. Despite the return of Gronkowski (17 tgts, 8 rec, 114 yds), TB12 finished the 30-27 OT loss with an uncharacteristic 53.5 QBR, completing 22/46 passes for 222 yards, zero touchdowns and a critical pick six. New England converted one out of 12 third down chances, surrendering 11/21 opportunities on the opposite side of the ball. The Patriots allowed 30 points to a Jets team that hadn’t scored over 29 in a game over their last 16 matchups and got manhandled in time of possession 46:13 to 23:40. New England still had chances to win the game late but could not pull through.

Tom Brady suffered a badly swollen hand after taking a hit against the Miami Dolphins. Despite the injury, he was able to stay in the game.
This is not a case of me offering a fashionista critique of Tom Brady that leads to calling him a “pretty boy” player. After seven games, however, Brady needs to look to himself to cure what is ailing this New England Patriots team.
Injuries, personnel questions, and, at times, poor execution or play have plagued the Pats. We’ve seen the games. Brady can’t be exempted from...
Tom Brady used to be on the injury report every single week. Nothing like trolling an opponent’s sack dance after kneeing Tom Brady in the head after a sack. Jared Odrick borrowing from Chandler Jones here.
Tom Brady 99-yard TD Pass to Wes Welker (9/12/11) (by DrBigMac1124)
Tom Brady‘s first pass of the game went for an interception on Sunday, and the reason behind his accuracy issues might be a swollen hand.
Brady smacked his hand off the helmet of a Jets defender during last week’s loss in the Meadowlands, causing him to stretch and flex the hand quite a bit while on the sidelines during the second half of that game. It appears that the hand isn’t...
The New England Patriots are coming into this week still reeling from a divisional loss to the New York Jets last week. New England finally has TE Rob Gronkowski back in the starting lineup and according to reports this morning, WR Danny Amendola has been medically cleared to return. However, is QB Tom Brady suffering from an injury now as well?

Miami Dolphins (3-3) at New England Patriots (5-2)
Tom Brady has not played well this season. A lot of people are giving him a pass because of the state of his receiving corps and that’s obviously been an issue, but you can’t give him a total pass. His arm strength is noticeably diminished, something that’s been a trend over the past few seasons, and his timing and accuracy...
Surely you’re familiar with ESPN’s Body Issue, this year featuring golfer Gary Player. It seems like Gisele Bündchen and Vogue Paris are aware of it too, as Tom Brady’s wife and the magazine teamed up to take some body issue like photos.
That is some kind of weird pose, maybe a French sport we haven’t heard of? Anyhoo, we’re not complaining, and there’s more from Bündchen...

Every team deals with injuries throughout the course of a season, but the New England Patriots have been especially decimated on both sides of the ball coming into this week's contest with the Miami Dolphins. The Patriots have lost four key (and by key I mean the four best players on the field) defenders in Wilfork, Kelly, Mayo, and Talib while just seeing the return of Gronkowski...
