So many great players have come and gone in the last fifteen years let alone in the entire history of the NFL. 2011 marks the fifteenth year I have been following the National Football League. To celebrate, reflection was needed to see who the greatest players were during that timeframe.
The following is a list of the top 100 players to play during the years of 1997-2011. The only qualification is that each player must have played at least one season during that time. The list will be released in four parts all this week prior to the Super Bowl.
As imagined it has gotten harder and harder to rank the players. Choosing between Woodson and Sanders, Brady and Manning, Owens and Moss, Polamalu and Reed, Marino and Elway arise on this fourth and final part.
