Teams are getting to crunch time when it comes to their push for the playoffs, or in the case of the Kansas City Chiefs, their push for the first overall  pick in the 2013 draft.  Injuries are having a large effect on how some teams are faring (Steelers) while questionable management is again at the forefront of how others are flailing in the dark (Cardinals, Eagles, Chiefs etc….).  As a continuation to my weekly series on the NFL’s strongest and weakest divisions, I will again rank the teams by division according to how they were ranked by 13 NFL.com “experts”.   AFC EAST New England – 5 New York Jets – 29 Buffalo – 20 Miami – 21 TOTAL = 75          Last Week = 70          Rank  Gain/Loss = -5   AFC NORTH Pittsburgh – 13 Baltimore – 4 Cincinnati – 10 Cleveland – 23 TOTAL = 50          Last Week = 59          Rank Gain/Loss = +9 AFC SOUTH Houston – 1 Tennessee – 27 Jacksonville – 30 Indianapolis – 14 TOTAL = 72          Last Week = 72          Rank Gain/Loss = Even   AFC WEST San Diego – 24 Kansas City – 32 Denver – 6 Oakland – 31 TOTAL = 93          Last Week = 87          Rank Gain/Loss = -6     NFC EAST Philadelphia – 28 New York Giants – 8 Dallas – 18 Washington – 16 TOTAL = 70          Last Week = 70          Rank Gain/Loss = Even   NFC NORTH Green Bay – 9 Chicago – 7 Detroit – 19 Minnesota – 17 TOTAL = 52          Last Week = 47            Rank Gain/Loss = -5   NFC SOUTH Atlanta – 2 New Orleans – 15 Tampa Bay – 12 Carolina – 26 TOTAL = 55          Last Week = 57          Rank Gain/Loss = +2   NFC WEST San Francisco – 3 Arizona – 25 Seattle – 11 St. Louis – 22 TOTAL = 61          Last Week = 64          Rank Gain/Loss = +3   There you have it.  Another weekly ranking of the best and worst divisions in the NFL.  We have a new strongest division in the league, the AFC North.  They have usurped the top spot that was previously held by the NFC North who wore the crown for multiple weeks.  The weakest division in the league still continues to be the hapless AFC West who won’t likely get out of the basement even with the emergence of the extremely strong Denver Broncos.  The biggest improvement for the week was the AFC North who gained 9 spots.  The largest decline was the AFC West who tumbled 6 spots.
