As per usual I have compiled a list of the NFL’s Strongest and Weakest Divisions based on a ranking system from 13 “experts” from NFL.com.  I take the team rankings and place them into their divisions to get a decisive divisional ranking which is what you will see below.  Once again there were some movers and shakers (my apologies to Kim Kardashian if that phrase is copyrighted) so at the bottom of this article I will show the biggest rising division and the biggest falling division.   AFC EAST New England – 7 New York Jets – 23 Buffalo – 28 Miami – 13 TOTAL = 71          Last Week = 70 AFC NORTH Pittsburgh – 10 Baltimore – 8 Cincinnati – 20 Cleveland – 29 TOTAL = 67          Last Week = 68   AFC SOUTH Houston – 2 Tennessee – 27 Jacksonville – 31 Indianapolis – 16 TOTAL = 76          Last Week = 78   AFC WEST San Diego – 22 Kansas City – 32 Denver – 9 Oakland – 26 TOTAL = 89          Last Week = 94     NFC EAST Philadelphia – 15 New York Giants – 3 Dallas – 14 Washington – 19 TOTAL = 51          Last Week = 53   NFC NORTH Green Bay - 6 Chicago – 4 Detroit – 18 Minnesota – 12 TOTAL = 40          Last Week = 43   NFC SOUTH Atlanta – 1 New Orleans – 24 Tampa Bay – 21 Carolina – 30 TOTAL = 76          Last Week = 80   NFC WEST San Francisco – 5 Arizona – 17 Seattle – 11 St. Louis – 25 TOTAL = 58          Last Week = 42     There you have it.  The strongest division in the NFL is the NFC North who has taken the bull by the horns.  Last week’s top division, the NFC West has had a monumental collapse as they fell 16 spots in total to be the 3rd best division.  The divisions that saw the best improvement in Week 8 were the AFC West who jumped 5 spots.  They were closely followed by the NFC South who climbed 4 spots.  As mentioned above, the NFC West fell off the table by falling 16 spots and were followed by the AFC East and AFC North who only rose 1 spot.  The NFC North has now achieved the Top Ranking for the season with 40.
