Eagles star quarterback Michael Vick was leveled after throwing a long pass in the first quarter and underwent X-rays for the second straight game negative again. Then backup Nick Foles led the Eagles to a 27-17 preseason victory over the New England Patriots on Monday night. Eleven days earlier, in a 24-23 win over Pittsburgh, he had X-rays on his left thumb after hitting it on center Jason Kelce's helmet. Foles threw two touchdown passes for the second straight game for the Eagles. Tom Brady sat out the game for the Patriots. Source: Associated Press

Nick Foles will start Friday’s preseason game for the Philadelphia Eagles, filling in for Michael Vick. While Vick appears to be fine, the Eagles simply don’t want to risk any further injury in the final two preseason games.
On Friday, the Eagles will fave the Browns, who have allowed just 329 through the air and have picked off five passes through two games, so this may actually...
Philadelphia, we have a problem.
It may be “just” the preseason, but after Mike Vick suffered his second injury in as many preseason games you really start to worry. Every conversation about the Eagles chances this season involve some variation of the phrase, “IF Mike Vick stays healthy.” As he hasn’t been able to make it through even two preseason games without injury...
It's a Wednesday evening, you're not ready to go to bed yet, but what should you do? Sure, you could sit down and watch a little ESPN or maybe Comedy Central, but none of that sounds very entertaining.
I have a suggestion. How about you play a game of Bingo? Michael Vick injury Bingo to be exact.
The above Bingo board was created by Robert Littal.
On the first play of the Eagles second offensive possession, quarter back Michael Vick went down with an apparent rib injury.
The play came on a play action pass where as he spun around to get away from blitzing defenders and was met by a punishing hit that left him grounded. Vick is currently in the locker room getting X-rays, and will most likely sit out the rest of the night...
It may only be the preseason but take a quick look at these scary statistics from the first 2 preseason games combined for the Philadelphia Eagles electric but frail quarterback, Michael Vick- 4 completions, 11 passing yards, and most importantly 2 x-rays on bones that could have been broken. Even though Vick avoided a serious injury in both cases, you cannot look past the fact...
Michael Vick has always been injury prone. The way that he plays the game somewhat dictates that as does his stature. As electrifying as he can be to watch, there’s years of tape on him for defenses to understand how to play him.
This point is less about packages and schemes and more about Vick’s habits and routines.
His spin move, his shoulder shimmy and even his ankle dance...
Thanks to our friend at Black Sports Online we caught wind of a brand new game that’s hit the internet. It’s the first official Michael Vick injury Bingo game.
While it’s not funny when any NFL player get’s injured, we thought this was quite entertaining. We wish Vick a successful and healthy season.
The Associated Press reports X-rays on Vick's ribs at the stadium were negative, and an MRI and CT scan on Tuesday revealed he has no broken bones or fractured cartilage. Vick has a contusion of his ribs and of the soft tissue surrounding it, he also needed X-rays on his thumb, and those tests were also negative. It is likely Vick won't take another snap until the Eagles...
According to Jeff McLane of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Eagles head coach Andy Reid said that quarterback Micheal Vick suffered a rib injury during Monday night’s preseason game. He’ll undergo an MRI and CT scan on Tuesday.

No matter your personal feelings about Michael Vick, there’s one thing we can all agree on: the guy is about as injury prone an NFL QB as we’ve ever seen.
At just 6’0″ and 215 lbs, Vick is certainly one of the more electrifying athletes in the game, but his relatively small stature (and penchant for leaving the pocket) has...
Michael Vick gets crushed by Patriots Jermaine Cunningham 2012 (HD) (by BenjiPreseason)
When it's solid advice to tell an NFL quarterback to be more like Donovan McNabb, that quarterback must be in serious trouble. Michael Vick is. The Eagles' speedy passer hasn't even reached the regular season yet, and he's already dealing with significant pain, if not a sidelining injury. Why? Because he finds no problem in risking his season on scampers and heaves...
8 a.m. ET: In their first preseason game of the year, Tom Brady and the Patriots offense looked lost. But while the offensive unit managed just seven points en route to a 7-6 win, the defense far exceeded expectations. Jerod Mayo, Patrick Chung and Co. confused the Saints all night, and rookie defensive end Chandler Jones looked like an unstoppable force off the edge. But they'...
