Nick Greisen: Gone

Today the Ravens officialy released linebacker Nick Greisen. With Lewis back, the Ravens had 4 ILBs without him, and it makes sense that Greisen would be the one to go.  Other than Lewis, he is the second oldest of the 4 (Gooden, McClani, Ayanbadejo), and unlike Ayanbadejo, isn’t a perennial pro bowler.   Last year, Greisen signed a 3-year, $4 million contract with the team, and a $1 million signing bonus.  and his release saves the team $716,000 and gives them a total of $2 million until the cap limit.
