60 Max Power O:
Kicker Nate Kaeding suffered a groin injury this week in practice. Though it was a mere strain, the kicker was unable to continue in today's practice and is on a 'day-to-day' basis.
Though he is listed as questionable now, the Bolts will likely not take the chance of having the kicker either miss an important field goal or injure himself further.
What this means: For fantasy players, take Kaeding out of your lineup and look for another alternative in the meantime. Novak could be a reliable option and has proven to be fairly consistent. Last season, he hit 27 out of 34 attempts.
For the team, it doesn't mean a lot different. Novak has been known in the past to miss some clutch field goals. He can also tend to miss chip shots that aren't that hard. But all in all, he is a fairly consistent kicker. He will put up points for the team when called on and the Bolts don't have to sacrifice that much range with Novak.
If Novak does start, Charger fans shouldn't fret, this game should be a blow out in either direction and shouldn't come down to three points.
