Nike's 2012 Green Bay Packers Jersey
Nike and the NFL have teamed up to create new home, away and alternate jerseys for all of the 32 NFL teams. Above is a look at the first Green Bay Packers’ jersey that has been released. You can see the rest of the NFL jerseys here.
Clearly Nike was afraid to change one of the most beloved and long standing jerseys in the NFL, as there aren’t many obvious changes to this version of the jersey. The colors have all remained generally the same on the pants and jersey, with only the shoes gaining a slight makeover.
As you can see, the new Nike jerseys are supposed to make the players in the NFL faster. It will be interesting to see come game time whether or not the players actually appear faster. All I know is that if Nike was able to make B.J. Raji look like Usain Bolt, I’ll be extremely impressed.
Considering the changes made to some of the teams like the Seattle Seahawks, Nike made the correct decision by keeping the majority of Green Bay’...

The Packers "have chosen to stay with their traditional design aesthetic as well as their former uniform fabrication."
Today is the day – the day when Green Bay Packers safety Nick Collins should receive his medical recommendation on whether he can play again the NFL. After going through a battery of tests in New York this past week, he will finally have the information to start making a decision about his future.
It was Week 2 of last season when Packers fans held their breath as Nick Collins...
2011 Packers Yearbook: Most disappointing player
(Be sure to place your vote in the poll below.)
Adam: Tramon Williams went from one of the most promising CBs in the NFL to givng up record numbers in passing yards. A shoulder injury and little support from the pass rush didn’t help Williams, but he still gets my vote for most disappointing.
Al: For me it has to be Mike Neal...

Last Day at Lambeau Premieres April 18, 2012, Wisconsin Film Festival
When I first heard about the film project called “Last Day at Lambeau,” my initial reaction was, WHY? Why re-open Packers fans’ wounds when the scars have been healing so nicely? After watching the film, I learned the answer to that question (but we’ll get to that a bit later).
I received an advance press...
Veteran safety is coming off a very disappointing season
Charlie Peprah’s future with the Packers isn’t as big a story as the futures of Chad Clifton and Donald Driver, but it’s every bit as shaky. The veteran safety is coming off a dismal season and he’s scheduled to make $1.225 million in 2011. And in the National Football League, poor performance plus a relatively high...
No receiver corps got more out of its pass routes than Green Bay in 2011, with Jordy Nelson having a monster season and Randall Cobb outperforming the NFL's two touted rookies — and that's not even mentioning Greg Jennings and James Jones. We look at the numbers and look at history.
With Charles Woodson's advancing age, Sam Shields' so-so second season and Davon House's invisible rookie season, the Packers probably will draft a cornerback. NFL Scouting takes a look at the issues surrounding those cornerbacks with character questions.
I got this dance thing down T..
Check out Donald Driver’s third dance, on Dancing With the Stars — Donald gets emotional as he chooses a song that expresses how he felt after losing someone close to him. Dancing the Rumba to Mariah Carey’s “One Sweet Day,” Donald certainly did his dance to the fullest. Donald received a 9-8-9 from the judges giving them a total of 26...
