Due to the NFL lockout, elite cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha is still a free agent. Having been unable to sign a lucrative contract with a team before March 1st, Nnamdi is still available. Nnamdi is the type of talent that could turn a doormat into a contender if he is signed. Raider's head coach Hue Jackson told media today, "We have some very talented players that also play (cornerback)," Jackson said. "It's time for them to step up and be players." Jackson sounds like he's been informed from the higher-ups that Asomugha won't be back in 2011." The Houston Texans, Detroit Lions, Philiadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers seem to be the most likely 2011-12 destination for Asomugha. Do not count out any other team to sign one of the best defensive players in the league. Asomugha can go anywhere he wants, but the lockout is preventing him from choosing for now.
