The Tennessee Titans have no plans to put Dez Bryant-like restrictions on their troubled wide receiver Kenny Britt, coach Mike Munchak told “NFL AM” on Tuesday morning.

“We have a particular schedule because he’s been on the PUP list and he’s been injured,” said the second-year head coach. “We have him on a certain schedule that we feel fits perfectly for him. He’s involved in everything the players have done as far as, he is in all the meetings, he’s doing all the things he needs to do, he’s here on time, he’s been doing everything we’ve asked of him.”

Britt, who is rehabbing from knee surgery, is expected to be suspended by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, after a recent arrest for suspicion of DUI.

“As far as how the league handles him that is something, obviously, we will probably hear real soon, those are things they tell you about this time of year,” Munchak said.

The potential suspension aside, the Titans are optimistic its most dynamic receiving threat will be physically ready to contribute once the off-field issues are dealt with.

“He’s doing very well he’s handled a lot of disappointment, last year with getting hurt in the third game after having two big games going in,” Munchak said. “He hasn’t been able to stay healthy since he’s been in the league, which is unfortunate because we feel he is going to be one of the best at his position, he could be for a long time. He’s been working hard, he’s doing real well and he is close to start competing again.”

Muchack is confident Britt’s off-field troubles are a thing of the past.

“Right now he is doing exactly what the rest of the team has been doing, been exactly on curfew and everything has been great he’s handled himself well and we feel like it will continue to be that way,” he said. “Bottom line is we know he is going to be on the roster and playing and hopefully it’s real soon.”
