New Bucs tight end Tom Crabtree is familiar with talented players. Coming from Green Bay and being teammates of Aaron Rodgers and Clay Matthews, Crabtree knows a little bit about players with talent. Speaking to the media on the practice fields at One Buc Place, the block-first but possibly turning pass-catching tight end said the Buccaneers have some of the most talented players he’s ever seen. Being here for a month, some of the best, just gifted athletes I’ve been around and some really talented guys. That’s not taking anything away from Green Bay. They’ve obviously had talented guys, as well. But coming here, there’s been no drop-off as far as the athleticism and the talent of guys. This isn’t the first time we’ve heard the Bucs are loaded with players who are talented. But it is the first time someone has compared their level of talent/athleticism to a championship football team like the Green Bay Packers. The Bucs have been looking for a tight end that will push Luke Stocker to be the player they had drafted him to be or a tight end to come in and contribute right away. Crabtree can potentially do both. Crabtree’s entire post-practice interview can be seen here via Buccaneers.com.
