There's something about coming to New York that brings the predictions out of Dolphins wide receiver Brandon Marshall.
When the Dolphins were heading to our neck of the woods to face the Jets a couple of weeks ago, Marshall said that he was going to play like such a monster that there was a good chance he'd get ejected from the game before the end of the second quarter. Now, on the verge of another trip north to face the Giants, Marshall is predicting an end to the Dolphins' season-long losing streak.
"To: Media When we win Sunday please don't say the Giants didn't take us serious."
Marshall's Jets prediction turned out to be more "Dewey Beats Truman" than truth. He caught a few balls, but dropped just as many in the end zone and stumbled while running a route that led to Darrelle Revis' 100-yard interception return for a touchdown.
This prediction shouldn't come true, either. Marshall was correct about one thing, however.
