Houston Texans wide receiver Kevin Walter does not have a fractured shoulder, as was reported by some media outlets Sunday.
Texans coach Gary Kubiak said Walter is dealing with a bruised collarbone suffered in Sunday's 34-7 victory over Indianapolis.
He had one catch for 14 yards before leaving the contest. It was initially reported that Walters could be sidelined for 10-12 weeks, but an MRI revealed no fracture.
Kubiak said Walter will be re-evaluated Wednesday.
