TJ Rosenthal kicks off another week of NFL/Jets coverage at Turn On The Jets (and our last week under the old site design). Make sure to give him a follow. We are also flattered to be nominated for “Best Jets Fan Site” by Flight 5 Live – Please give us a vote here and a vote to our writers Chris Gross and Steve Bateman for “Best Jets Timeline” Super Bowl 47 What an amazing collection of twists and turns Sunday night was, during the Harbowl. The mean tough Ravens bullied the young post-modern Niners for thirty minutes and one kick return. Then the lights went out. When they came back on, the kids got moving in a hurry. Falling short perhaps only due to a “no call” on Michael Crabtree in the end zone with two minutes left. We salute both coaches, clubs and even the refs, for letting the physical play and pushing and shoving exist in a football game once again. We feel for Niners fans though, who will argue that the hold on Crabtree was a no brainer. Great game. Classic. Well done. Now Reality Sets In: The Jets Exist Again Now that the 2012 season is over, the 2013 campaign begins. This means that the Jets and all of their quandaries return to our collective Jet consciouses again. Headache time. The Ravens, Niners and even Beyonce helped the bewildered green and white herd, take our minds off of things. The Superdome is empty today however, meaning thoughts are officially swirling in Florham Park, as the NFL is back in business again. It’s “rumors and crazy theories” time folks. As the Jets get set for free agency, which begins in March. James Ihedigbo and Emmanuel Cook Super Bowl champs. Ex-Jets. Way to go boys. Diggz we loved your aggressive nature here in New York. The Ravens Are… What Rex Ryan wanted the Jets to be by now. A team with a leader at QB, aided by a great ground game, and intimidating defense. The Ravens are also world champs and off to see Obama. At the rate Rex is going these days he may want to change that 2009 White House guarantee of his own, to a visit to see Biden, Hillary, Rubio, or Chris Christie somewhere around 2016. Just to give himself the time that may be needed.
