Found October 26, 2011 on The Penalty Flag:
Terrell Owens held a public work out for the first time since undergoing ACL surgery and while the media continues to make a huge ordeal that no one showed up that doesn’t mean a team won’t at least check the tape and watch what T.O. can bring to the table. Owens, a six time pro bowl selection and dominant wide receiver of his era is still a free agent and fighting back from an injury. The Buffalo Bills still remain one option for the sometimes troubled superstar. Buffalo is thin at receiver and are without the services of Donald Jones, the number two unknown receiver of the Bills. Could he be ready to replace Donald Jones and bring his act back to Buffalo? Owens signed with the Buffalo Bills in 2009 season because Buffalo wanted and needed someone of his status. He felt wanted and at that time Buffalo may have been one of the only ones to “want” him but it worked perfectly for both teams and the fans. Owens had a career low in numbers as he had just 55 receptions for 829 yards and five touchdowns. While his numbers suffered in Buffalo, a huge factor in that was the [...]

Terrell Owens Workout Draws No NFL Teams, Receiver 'Not Worried About the Naysayers'

There was plenty of media in attendance for Terrell Owens' not-so-private workout. Not a single NFL team representative showed up to his public workout, though, according to NFL Network's Lindsay Soto via Shutdown Corner. Perhaps the scouts were at home watching on TV, as NFL Network aired the workout live. Owens can only hope for so much, but he was positive after his workout...

Terrell Owens Gets Stood Up

Terrell Owens held a public workout to drum up interest for his attempted return to the NFL. One problem: Not a single NFL team showed up to watch the workout. Apparently, nobody wants to roll the dice on a 37-year-old wide receiver who is coming off of a major knee injury … and that’s not even mentioning T.O.’s legendary ability to destroy team chemistry. Despite the non-existent...

T.O.'s PR stunt leads to PR stunt offer

Message to all the haters: The T.O. plan has worked! Well, sort of. One day after 37-year-old wide receiver Terrell Owens staged a reality-TV style workout for TV cameras --but no NFL scouts -- in hopes of drumming up potential offers from interested teams, his first contract proposal has arrived . . . from the Arena Football League. The AFL's Chicago Rush announced via press...

Terrell Owens, A Raven?

It’s no secret that the wide receiver position has been troublesome for the Baltimore Ravens. In an attempt to fix that, the Ravens drafted Torrey Smith and traded for Lee Evans this off-season. Smith’s inexperience has handicapped him at times and Evans has only seen the field in two games due to injury. In a time like this, is Terrell Owens the answer?More after the jump...

Daily Haze: Sneaky Waiver Wire Adds for Week 8

Slim pickings on the waiver wire this week, despite all of the injuries suffered in Week 8. Could be a good time to use that waiver wire priority on some of these down-the-road players: Terrell Owens, WR, Free Agent: Mentioned TO yesterday. Owens and his agent have declared him 100 percent healthy. Teams are losing players at the skill positions, so now could be the right time for...

Owens: Ochocinco's gonna hear it if he scores first

Although he doesn't have a team, Terrell Owens already plans on getting back in the end zone. Now, should he do so before former teammate Chad Ochocinco, well ... "Chad better watch out because if I get back on the field and start scoring touchdowns before he does, he's gonna hear it," Owens joked on Owens is trying to land a job for the remainder of...

T.O. Wins the Book of World Records Honor for “Loneliest Workout Ever”

Posted without comment When I heard that former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens was holding a workout for teams to come and view his newly healed knee, my first thought was “oh okay…wait…that’s not how that works.” See, if a team is even mildy interested in you, they will invite YOU to THEIR facility to workout in drills THEY would like to see YOU do. For whatever reason...

Networks, not teams, attend T.O. workout (AP)

Terrell Owens' workout was watched by two television networks but no NFL teams. The 37-year-old free-agent wide receiver participated in some drills and caught passes Tuesday outside Los Angeles in a showcase televised by ESPN and NFL Network. He tells ESPN "I definitely feel there are some teams out there that are interested." Agent Drew Rosenhaus says on Twitter that he will be...
