Sportsday:
Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy is pessimistic about outside linebacker Aaron Kampman being able to play against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday.
Kampman emerged from Sunday's loss at Tampa Bay with a concussion and will miss his second consecutive practice on Thursday. McCarthy said on a conference call that the Packers will treat Kampman cautiously because of the nature of the injury
``It'll probably go right up to game-time,'' McCarthy said of the decision on Kampman. ``He's probably a little further off than we initially thought.''
With the Packers move to a 3-4 defense this season, Kampman switched from end to linebacker and has 2 1/2 sacks. As an end, he had 37 sacks in 47 games during the previous three seasons.
