No surprise here, Steven Jackson chosen as team’s MVP

The Rams announced the winners of their team awards on Monday, they day after they closed out a 1-15 season. It was no surprise that running back Steven Jackson was the team’s Most Valuable Player and middle linebacker James Laurinaitis was the team’s Rookie of the Year.They were chosen in voting by their teammates. Leonard Little was voted to receive the Carl Eckern Spirit of the Game award, while free safety Oshiomogho Atogwe will be the Rams’ candidate for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award.
