Greg Jennings has been sidelined since sustaining a concussion at a scrimmage on August 3, and the Packers will not provide a timetable on his return to action.
As reported by Brad Biggs of the National Football Post, head coach Mike McCarthy isn’t sure when the former Western Michigan star will return to the field.
“Well, it’s a long time,” said McCarthy regarding Jenning’s absence. “So obviously based on the extent of his injury, he obviously needs this much time. He did some more testing and he’s still going through the protocol test, but we’re not going to put him back out there until we’re 100 percent sure that he’s clear.”
While we don’t anticipate a Justin Morneau or Jahvid Best like situation regarding Jennings’ concussion, it is certainly concerning for those fantasy owners that drafting Jennings as a number one WR this season.

Alex Green got the start with both Cedric Benson and James Starks inactive against the Browns. He did run for 16 yards on 4 carries and was in on just about ever offensive snap. Green is a perfect fit for the Packers spread attack as he played in a similar system in Hawaii. It’s hard to jump off the page with only 4 carries, but this is still...

Antonio Freeman was one of Brett Favre’s greatest weapons. Sure, throughout his Green Bay career there was Donald Driver, Bill Schroeder, Corey Bradford, Bubba Franks, Javon Walker, and Robert Ferguson. But it’s Freeman who is the most underrated out of all of them.
Freeman played football at Virginia Tech, he caught 93 balls for 1,534 yards and 16 touchdowns through his junior...
