Found September 20, 2012 on isportsweb.com:

With the week having been filled with a lot of things going in I look down and it’s time to once again look at the former North Carolina football players now in the National Football League as the Thursday night game arrives on the NFL Network. And like it has been the case the first two weeks, at least one team in the first game of the week has a former Tar Heel on its roster. In this one the franchise has a pair of former Carolina players in this one. All the information used is a combination from UNC Pro’s and ourlads web sites, along with some stuff I gathered as well. But now, with further interruptions, let’s get going with the game for Thursday, September 20, 2012…

Bank of American Stadium ~ 8:20 p.m. EST ~ NFL Network

For the New York Giants…

DT Marvin Austin #96 (6’2″/312 lbs) ~ 23 Years old ~ 2 Years Exp
Roster Position: 2nd on Depth Chart @ LDT

WR Hakeem Nicks #88 (6’1″/208 lbs) ~ 24 Years old ~ 4 Years Exp
Roster Position: 1st on Depth Chart @ LWR

This game could have been a fight of wide receivers, as you can see by this stat…

…but having read that Hakeem Nicks did not travel with team for tonight’s game was a bit of a let down.

[To listen to the game: Sirius XM Radio: 92 & 93 | Westwood One]

And that is it for the single game of the night, but as we all know the bulk of the schedule will come in the early part Sunday (kick off time 1:00 p.m. EST) and then some more in the later games and finally the Monday Night Game televised by ESPN.
