There was a reason why Baltimore Ravens quarterback Joe Flacco came off of a career year last season.  There is also a reason why Flacco has struggled mightily to remain consistent this year.  The reason?  Jim Zorn. Yes, that Jim Zorn.  The one who failed miserably in his two-year stint as Washington Redskins head coach.  After being fired by the Redskins, Zorn came to Baltimore to be the quarterbacks coach.  He helped propel Joe Flacco to his best season as a Raven, throwing for a career-high 3,622 yards and 25 touchdowns, along with a career-low 10 interceptions.  By the end of last season, it was clear that Joe Flacco was making the necessary strides to be a Super Bowl contending quarterback. So what do the Ravens do?  They fire Jim Zorn after his lone season in Baltimore.
