This is not the same old Jets team. After a gutsy 24-17 win over the Titans on Sunday, Bart Scott's post game comments were as big and boisterous as ever. He proclaimed that the team's defense can play "basketball" or smash mouth football as the game Sunday was indeed more physical. The team has surprised the expectations of many and is getting ready for a showdown between thier top ranked defense and the New Orleans Saints top ranked offense. That is going to be a real litmus test for this team. They have bet three really good football teams, but many are still not giving them the credit that they deserve. This team is built on a solid core of veterans and extremely talented younger players. I can see the team respond when they need to and that is something that Jets fans have not seen for many years.
