Brett Davis- US Presswire The offense was horrendous, putrid and every other hanus word that is in the dictionary.Yes, I stated that in my recent power rankings, and it should be stated that Darren McFadden hauled in 13 passes in the home loss. Carson Palmer was abysmal although the number won’t state such, but it didn’t help matters that their top targets were inactive. Darius Heyward-Bey and Denarius Moore should be back in this one, but it may be tough to believe Darren McFadden will get much going against arguably an even stingier defense. The Dolphins are pretty awful as well though. Reggie Bush is their only relevant performer and everybody else would likely be in backup and or practice squad roles. Forget how good the defense can be, their offense flat out atrocious. Ryan Tannehill may have a decent future in the NFL, but he has a long way to go in terms of becoming relevant any time soon. His starting receivers will still get blanketed by Shawntae Spencer and Pat Lee thanks ...

Chad Johnson Missed Court Due To Spending The Night With 3rd Mistress

We know the real reason why Chad Johnson missed court Thursday morning, and it all has something to do with a WOMAN. According to Radar Online, Johnson was due in court on Thursday for his arraignment (the charge of domestic violence against his wife Evelyn Lozada back in August), but decided not to show up. Johnson pleaded not guilty in the case. It's being said that Johnson...

Raiders have no interest in T.O., Chad Johnson or Plaxico Burress

The Oakland Raiders moved swiftly to answer three burning questions with one big answer. No… Even with a young receiving core that is inexperienced and banged up, the Raiders have no interest in the big 3 of elder wide receivers. Raiders general manager Reggie McKenzie told San Francisco Chronicle that he’ll pass. “It’s not just (their) age,” McKenzie said. ...

Raiders expect limited role for Moore

Raiders wide receiver Denarius Moore has practiced this week and is expected to make his season debut at Miami on Sunday with a limited number of plays. Moore has been sidelined since suffering a hamstring injury Aug. 4, and the team held him out of the season opener. With Jacoby Ford potentially headed for injured reserve due to foot surgery, Derek Hagan was signed last week and...

Oakland Raiders defense ready for rookie QB Ryan Tannehill

Despite being put in terrible circumstances Monday night against the San Diego Chargers, the Oakland Raiders defense play very well. On Sunday they will go up against the Miami Dolphins and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. Building on the momentum of slowing down a potent Chargers offense, the Raiders should be up to the task of stopping Tannehill and the Dolphins. “The...

Raiders cornerback Lee to start against Miami

Oakland cornerback Pat Lee is no stranger to coming off the bench in emergency situations. He did it in the Super Bowl two years ago while with Green Bay, helping the Packers secondary hold on after injuries put Charles Woodson and Sam Shields on the sidelines. Now he's being asked to do the same for the Raiders - albeit on a significantly smaller stage. Starter Ron Bartell...

Oakland Raiders: The autumn wind is a long snapper

The San Diego Chargers defeated the Oakland Raiders 22-14 on Monday night in front of a West Coast and sleepy East Coast television audience to what turned out to be a lackluster game. (I’m sorry to the east coast people who stayed up for such a sloppy performance.) Man, finally the Black Hole was loud and full for once, but the Nation will forever remember this name, Trevor Goethel...

Oakland Raiders vs. Miami Dolphins: Three Bold Predictions

The Oakland Raiders and Miami Dolphins are both coming off of very poor outings in Week 1. The Raiders simply looked lost against the Chargers last Monday night, or should I say that they looked like the same old Raiders. Mistakes are this team's downfall, season after season, and it was more of the same in Week 1. Oakland had four inexcusable fumbles, including three in special...

Goat’s Week 1 NFL Power Rankings

The Oakland Raiders have more problems than a bad long snapper, as the offense was manhandled and the defense lacked discipline.

Concussion sidelines Dolphins' Thomas

Miami Dolphins running back Daniel Thomas has been ruled out of Sunday's game against Oakland because of a concussion, leaving the team with little experience behind starter Reggie Bush.

Oakland Raiders Defense Ready for Rookie QB Ryan Tannehill

On Sunday they will go up against the Miami Dolphins and rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill. The Stop and Go: Long Journey Home

It all started in the late 1990’s when my mom returned home with my very own Dan Marino jersey.  It doesn’t take much to sway the loyalties of an 8 year old, so the aqua and orange pulled me way into Miami Dolphins fanhood.  For the past 10 and some years, I’ve sat idly as a fan voicing my opinions to anyone who would listen until recently, when an opportunity to pick...

Dolphins Have Advantage Against Raiders

With week 1 of the NFL season now in the books, many Dolphins fans have chose to analyze Miami's struggles in a 30-10 loss to Houston last week instead of looking ahead to this Sunday's matchup, the home opener against the Oakland Raiders. While the Texans showed that they are a Super Bowl calibre team, the Dolphins were able to find several positives from the game including...
