The Oakland Raiders will have their final mandatory mini-camp this week in Alameda, California. The mini-camp marks the end of the Raiders' offseason program as the players will step away from the team until training camp in late July.

So far this offseason the Raiders have had three organized team activities and a rookie mini-camp in preparation for the 2012 season. As the Raiders progress in the offseason workouts they have installed a little more each practice.

“Yes, each day is a different install where we put a little bit different stuff, offensively, defensively and in the kicking game so every day we add a little something different,” Raiders head coach Dennis Allen said of the team activities.

As the Raiders begin their final mini-camp, one of the major differences is that it's mandatory. The other team activities have been voluntary, although the team has had good attendance. During the mandatory mini-camp the Raiders will try to install as much of the offense, defense, and special teams as possible.

“Yeah, they will have a lot of it; they still won’t have everything but for the most part they’ll have the core of what we are going to be,” Allen said.

The mini-camp runs June 12 through June 14. The Raiders first preseason game is on Monday Night Football against the Cowboys on August 13, 2012.
