A few weeks ago Nike released concept NFL uniforms that took the internet by storm. Were they fake, were they real? Some of designs were a little out there, but many of them would be a welcome change.
Now, a photographer out of Missouri, Charles Sollars developed some concept helmets like the one above.
“The designs are just my own ideas for something new.” Said Sollers. “I went with the whole Nike Pro Combat idea for the College ones. Some of the others were ideas that people asked to see.”
Here is the other helmet idea he came up with for the Silver and Black.
Maybe this can be sold to fans or used in a exhibition game or something along those lines. The Raiders have one of the best and most recognizable uniforms in all of sports, so don’t look for changes anytime soon.

Thanks For The Laugh This Morning, Carson Palmer
Ahh I needed this. What is better than waking up on a Friday morning, turning on the TV and hearing Carson Palmer call the Oakland Raiders a “championship team”? ….not much, right?
“As far as being close to a playoff team, it’s more than that,” Palmer said, via Steve Corkran of the Bay Area News Group. “We’re close to a championship team. There’s a lot of work that...

Carson Palmer says forget playoffs, Raiders are close to a championship contender
The last time the Raiders finished a season with a record above .500, Rich Gannon was under center. That was 10 years ago, when the 11-5 Raiders were destroyed by the Bucs in the Super Bowl. Since then, life in Oakland has not been easy. The Raiders have improved a bit recently — with 8-8 finishes the past two seasons — but they have work to do before becoming a playoff contender...

Kamerion Wimbley: How to Turn $600K Into $48M in Just 6 Months
The Oakland Raiders and Kamerion Wimbley have a very curious history behind them. After the 2010 season, the Raiders were pretty impressed with Wimbley’s play. After all, he did lead the team in sacks with 9 (one of Al Davis’ favorite stats). You add his 58 tackles (46 solo) and you have a solid player [...]
Sebastian Janikowski to attend Anger Management
Ah, yes. Sebastian Janikowski is a true Raider. Nasty and dirty and he’s just our kicker. Got to love him. Janikowski just looks like a head case. Janikowski, 33, must perform 30 hours each of anger management and substance abuse classes, as well as 30 hours of community service. He must also stay away from [...]
Raiders place franchise tag on Tyvon Branch
The Raiders have used their franchise tag on Tyvon Branch, a great move for the Raiders. Tyvon is an extremely underrated player, playing in an undervalued position at safety. Teams avoided Tyvon last year like the plague and can’t say I blame them. Why wouldn’t avoid Branch, when you can just throw at Routt and [...]
