Last week when the Oakland Raiders held mandatory mini-camp, every player showed up to work. Not every player on the Raiders was healthy and able to practice, but the team had one hundred percent attendance.
“We’ve got 100% attendance, so everybody’s here,” head coach Dennis Allen said after the mini-camp session. “Obviously, we wish we were 100% healthy and had everybody out here practicing, but we do have everybody here, and I was pleased with the work that we got today.”
As far as the injuries to Raiders' players who are not participating in the mini-camp, all are expected to be back by training camp in late July. The biggest injury concern is with second year offensive lineman Stefen Wisniewski, who has a shoulder injury. He needs to be ready for training camp because he is moving from guard, where he played all 16 games last season, to center. All indications are that Wisniewski will be ready.
