The Raiders wasted no time showing their potential against San Diego Monday night, while also giving us a solid dose of "just kidding" as they blew a lead with 17 seconds remaining.
At least it wasn't a comeback of epic proportions. Despite continued inconsistent play from supposed "franchise" passer, Jamarcus Russell, Oakland was still able to keep it close, while unleashing Darren McFadden onto the NFL world, as well as unveiling Louis Murphy.

Quarterbacks
Jamarcus Russell: 12-30, 208 yards, 1 TD, 2 INT
Russell wasn't awful, but he didn't exactly make huge strides in Oakland's opening game, either. He showed soe solid chemistry with both tight end Zach Miller and rookie receiver Louis Murphy, but was far too inconsistent for a third year passer.
Still, with Jeff Garcia gone and now with the Eagles, Russell has no worries as far as job security goes. On a lighter not...
