Even though Chad Ochocinco is a complete non-factor in the Patriots’ multifaceted offense, he still feels the need to give back to the team.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Ochocinco bought 70 Beats By Dre headphones for each of his teammates to have during their flight to Indianapolis on Sunday for Super Bowl XLVI.
Beats By Dre, created by legendary hip-hop producer Dr. Dre, are considered to be among the best — and priciest — headphones on the market, with even the basic model running upwards of $100 a piece.
Obviously, $7,000 is nothing but a drop in the bucket for Ochocinco, who received a $4.75 million signing bonus this past August. Still, it’s a nice gesture as the 11-year receiver gears up for his first Super Bowl appearance.
