WEDNESDAY 10/4 - Mitchell Countdown Begins

Some patience will be required but help is on the way for the Baltimore Ravens' run game.

Per ESPN's Adam Schefter, touted undrafted rookie running back Keaton Mitchell returned to practice on Wednesday. Thus opens the 21-day window to active him to the 53-man roster after he spent time on injured reserve.

Mitchell, the son of Ravens champion Anthony, came to the team after three seasons at East Carolina but sustained a shoulder injury over the summer. Three of Mitchell's seven carries (which totaled 42 yards) earned first downs for the Ravens during the preseason. 

Baltimore has endured some tough losses in the run game in the early stages of this season: starter J.K. Dobbins has already been lost for the year, forcing Gus Edwards and Justice Hill to step up in his place.

SUNDAY 9/17 - Bengals vs. Ravens Post-Game

Ravens coach John Harbaugh gave an update on the injury status of wideout Odell Beckham Jr., who left the Bengals game in the third quarter on Sunday.

“I don’t believe either one of those will be serious as it looks right now,” Harbaugh said at his postgame press conference as he also addressed the injury to edge rusher Odafe Oweh.

Beckham missed some plays in the first half after initially getting injured and made an attempt to come back in the second half before leaving the game for good.

SUNDAY 9/17 - Bengals vs. Ravens

Ravens wideout Odell Beckham Jr. has been ruled out of the rest of the game with an ankle injury. Beckham left the game early in the third quarter.

Prior to his early exit, Beckham registered three catches for 29 yards as the Ravens led the Bengals 20-10.

Safety Marcus Williams has a pectoral injury and his return status is unknown. It will be a lengthy absence but "may not be a season-ender," per coach John Harbaugh.

Corner Marlon Humphrey "has a shot" to play on Sunday per Harbaugh, but he added, "It's pretty early in the process."

C Tyler Linderbaum has an ankle sprain and is considered week-to-week and will most likely miss Sunday.

Offensive tackle Ronnie Stanley has a knee sprain and is also considered week-to-week and will probably miss Sunday.

Sunday 9/10 - Texans vs. Ravens

Per NFL Network's Ian Rapoport, JK Dobbins is "feared" to have torn his Achilles. That would rule him out for the season. Justice Hill has taken his place in the game and scored two touchdowns.

Also injured in the game are CB Marcus Williams, OL Ronnie Stanley, and C Tyler Linderbaum. Williams, Stanley, and Linderbaum will all undergo MRIs to detect the severity of their injuries per John Harbaugh in the post-game presser.
