Odds: Steelers Favored to Finish Preseason Unbeaten
Charles LeClaire-USA TODAY Sports

The Pittsburgh Steelers have good odds to beat the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday night and finish the 2023 NFL preseason with an unbeaten record.

The Steelers are 4.5-point favorites over the Falcons on Thursday night. They are also a -205 money line bet. The over/under total for the game has been set at 38.5.

Pittsburgh is 2-0 this preseason after beating the Buccaneers, 27-17 Week 1 and the Buffalo Bills, 27-15 in Week 2. Not only that, the Steelers are 2-0 against the odds, easily covering the 2.5-point spread against Tampa and Buffalo.

The went 3-0 in the preseason in 2022, beating the Seattle Seahawks 32-25 at home, the Jacksonville Jaguars on the road 16-15 and the Detroit Lions at home 19-9. They won three of four games in 2021. If the Steelers win, they will tie the Las Vegas Raiders for the longest active preseason winning streak at six games, after the Baltimore Ravens’ 24-game streak was snapped on Monday.

Kenny Pickett and most of the Steelers starters are again expected to play in the game, and likely will play their largest snap count of the preseason in this game.

The Steelers beat the Falcons at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in the regular season last year, winning 19-16 after a late Connor Heyward touchdown and a Minkah Fitzpatrick game-sealing interception.
