Odell Beckham Jr is officially on the recruiting trail.

The New York Giants receiver took to Instagram on Saturday to post a photo of himself with Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell. In the post, he referred to the fellow Pro Bowler as “the newest member of the Giants.”

The timing of Beckham’s post is certainly no coincidence — there is some uncertainty over Bell’s future with Pittsburgh given his contract situation. The team would benefit from franchise-tagging the star back once again in 2018, but Bell seems to want a more lucrative long-term offer from them right now. That may lead to an impasse where Bell could possibly test free agency.

As for the Giants, it is obvious that they need some major help in the backfield — they finished 26th in the NFL in total rushing yards last season and tied for 28th in rushing touchdowns, per ESPN. If things go south between Bell and the Steelers this offseason, Beckham is making it loud and clear that he wants the G-Men to pounce (perhaps before this AFC team does).
