BY NICK ST. DENISOffense just isn't the New York Jets' thing.Sunday, New York's offensive line had no push in the run game and couldn't protect Mark Sanchez, and when it did, Sanchez either couldn't made a decent throw or saw his receivers, namely usually sure-handed tight end Dustin Keller, drop passes. So despite a very good showing by the defense, the Jets couldn't create a nosebleed in a 28-7 loss to the Seattle Seahawks. And don't let that seven points fool you, the defense scored them.Sanchez completed just nine of 21 passes for 124 yards. The Jets' offense was an alarming 2-for-11 on third down, and Sanchez and receiver/returner Jeremy Kerley lost fumbles, with Kerley's coming on a punt return. Also, Gang Green wasn't able to establish much of a rhythm on the ground and couldn't convert on a fourth-and-1 Shonn Greene run.Jets offensive coordinator Tony Sparano again looked clueless. With that, Jets coach Rex Ryan said Sanchez will rem...

New York Jets – Rex and Sanchez Try To Save Each Other

As the Jets offense continues to struggle while the losses pile up, we wonder about what this will mean at seasons end for both Rex Ryan and Mark Sanchez. The Jets starting QB is once again demonstrating poor body language and self admittedly has become affected by the Tebow substitutions, leading to making too many poor decisions at crucial times. Ryan meanwhile, is defiantly sticking...

Jets CB defends Mark Sanchez

Antonio Cromartie did not mince words when coming to the defense of the team's quarterback, saying the following about Mark Sanchez detractors: "They can kiss my a**."

Wilson Over Sanchez. Seattle Seahawks Over New York Jets

Mark Sanchez was almost a Seahawk. When he was available in the draft back in 2009, the Seahawks supposedly were strongly considering him. They instead went with a guy considered to be a safe bet, in linebacker Aaron Curry. Curry didn’t work out for the Seahawks and they eventually traded him to the Raiders for a pair of picks. Curry didn’t do much in Seattle and spent most of...

Antonio Cromartie: Kiss my butt, Sanchez is our quarterback

New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez has one supporter in the locker room, cornerback Antonio Cromartie, who says Sanchez is the Jets only quarterback. “They can kiss my butt, Mark is our quarterback. At the end of the day, we could give a damn what anybody on the outside has to say." Cromartie said to the New York Post following the Jets 28-7 loss to Seattle. "Mark...

Initial Reaction – New York Jets Pop Warner Offense Gets Blown Out

The New York Jets defense came to play today. This isn’t the most talented unit and they are lacking in many key areas. Regardless, they put forth a respectable effort and gave their team every chance to be competitive and win. The offense? Putrid. Embarrassing. Pop Warner quality. The Jets had two weeks to prepare and their major revelation was bringing Tim Tebow in the game...

New York Jets at Seattle Seahawks: Five Things We Learned

Seattle set the tone for this game on the very first play from scrimmage.New York took the ball first, and very likely regretted that choice immediately. The Jets first snap went to Mark Sanchez, who then tried to set up a screen pass to Shonn Greene. Seattle tore through the Jets offensive line, got in Sanchez's face in just over one second, forcing him to throw the ball away...

Jets' Cromartie still vehemently defending Sanchez

BY NICK ST. DENISRex Ryan isn't the only New York Jet under the Mark Sanchez love spell.Sunday, Jets cornerback Antonio Cromartie said those calling for the fourth-year signal-caller to be replaced "can kiss my ass.""Mark's our quarterback," Cromartie said, according to CBS. Somehow, optimism remains for Jets

(Eds: APNewsNow. With AP Photos.) By BARRY WILNER AP Pro Football Writer The numbers and their recent level of performance indicate the New York Jets are done for 2012. Their comments say otherwise. Somehow, in the wake of two awful outings in losses to Miami and Seattle, the Jets talk about remaining confident, about turning things around, about eliminating the mistakes that are...

Chilly Night For The New York Jets After Another Loss In Seattle

After another loss to the hands of the Seattle Seahawks 28-7, The New York Jets fall to 3-6 and last place in the AFC East. Playoffs are slipping out of reach and when asked about the quarterback position Rex Ryan after the game say's he's sticking with Mark, who according to Rex gives the Jets the best chance to win. The Jets have scored 1 offensive Touchdown in 2 games...

Week 10 - Seahawks Win! (R-Rated Thread)

The offense looked ugly in the early going, giving up turnovers and making the Jets look like they've got a legitimate pass rush, but an improved second half performance combined with Mark Sanchez and Tim Tebow hosting an all-game clinic on how not to play the QB position ultimately led to a nice, satisfying victory. Also, I love how well the Seahawks are executing on Wilson...

Week 10 – Things That Caught My Eye

It’s been a while and I do apologize. I live in the Northeast, NJ to be exact and the past few weeks, mother nature has not been a friend but that’s all history now. Now, let’s talk a little Week 10. Many teams I’m sure felt this way this week No People, It’s Not Tebow-Time People aren’t going to believe me when I say that I am not a NY Jets fan because it always seems...

Seahawks crush Jets 28-7

The Seattle Seahawks (6-4) beat the New York Jets (3-6) 28-7, this past Sunday at CentruyLink Field from Seattle, WA. As soon as the Jets told media before this game saying they were going to make the playoffs, but that likely won't happen now as they got crushed by Seattle. It's time for Rex Ryan to pull Mark Sanchez from the starting QB position, although it is unlikely...
