The Week 3 matchup between the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers can be summed with just one word: “Wow.” That is what Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy said after the game in the locker room when he read the stats sheet and saw that Tampa Bay held the Falcons to just 30 rushing yards for the game. It is amazing how quickly a team can fall in the NFL. It was only three weeks ago that Atlanta was getting ready to unveil its new offense as Super Bowl favorites. Fast-forward three weeks to a 1-2 record and your new, exciting, down-field offense is missing in action. The thing that is keeping Atlanta’s offense from being successful is a terrible offensive line. In just three games Atlanta’s quarterback Matt Ryan has been sacked 13 times, the third-highest total in the NFL.
