1. Quarterback The Philadelphia Eagles are expected to end the Michael Vick era this offseason. And while Nick Foles may be worth developing, he isn’t an immediate answer to their issues at quarterback. If they’re interested in keeping Foles, then signing a veteran makes the most sense. But if the new regime isn’t interested in Foles, Geno Smith may be a first-round option. 2. Offensive Line By season’s end, the Eagles had arguably the worst offensive line in the league. But a major reason for their struggles was the injury bug that bit Jason Peterson, Todd Herremans and others. Simply by getting everyone healthy the Eagles line will improve, but some changes are likely coming. Luke Joeckel and Eric Fisher are strong possibilities in the first round. 3. Cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha has been a huge disappointment and will only return to Philly if he restructures his contract. Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie is also an unrestricted free agent and is unlikely to return after a few sub-par seasons with the Eagles. Dee Milliner could be an option in the first round, but the depth at the cornerback position could cause them to wait until the second round to address the need.

Gonzalez: The Eagles Should Keep Michael Vick

Categories: BREAKING NEWS Eagles NewsTags: Michael VickPhiladelphia EaglesOn Wednesday, John Gonzalez of CSNPhilly.com wrote a column where he presented a case for the Philadelphia Eagles to retain quarterback Michael Vick, and give him one more shot as the team’s starting quarterback. In the name of sanity, I can’t imagine why the Eagles, Gonzalez, or anyone capable of rational...

Report: Eagles likely won’t cut Michael Vick right away

According to Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports, the Philadelphia Eagles aren’t worried about releasing quarterback Michael Vick before his February 6th roster bonus kicks in.  The bonus will guarantee him $3 million of his $16.5 million 2013 salary.  Vick’s contract likely won’t be resolved by then. New coach Chip Kelly is evaluating the situation and how Vick fits in his spread...

NFL News: Eagles Reportedly Hire Bill Lazor

The Philadelphia Eagles have reportedly hired Virginia offensive coordinator Bill Lazor. Lazor has been the offensive coordinator at Virginia since 2010 and has an extensive resume of working with quarterbacks. The Scranton Native coached in the NFL from 2001-2009. He was the quarterback coach with the Washington Redskins and Seattle Seahawks during that time. It appears as though Pat...

Eagles LeSean McCoy Admits He Wasn’t Hacked, Apologizes for Baby Mama Herpes Twitter Beef

I can respect this. We all get caught up from time to time, but you just have to man up and admit you made a mistake and keep it moving. It was unfortunate that LeSean McCoy let his personal business spill over into Social Media, but it won’t be the first or last time someone has that type of lapse in judgement. LeSean McCoy & Baby Mama Twitter Battle About Child Support &...

Philadelphia Eagles GM Howie Roseman Likes to Draft Senior Bowl Players

Howie Roseman and the Philadelphia Eagles have a history of drafting players who participated in the Senior Bowl.  With this year’s Senior Bowl week in the books, we may be able to start identifying potential Eagles targets. With Chip Kelly and a new coaching staff involved, we don’t have any drafting trends to look at so we could see Howie alter his M.O.  Another thing...

Eagles Rumors: Michael Vick Decision Not Coming Soon

Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has a clause in his contract in which he’ll be guaranteed $3 million for next year on Feb. 6. Still, the Eagles aren’t in a hurry to make a decision on Vick’s future, as the guaranteed money isn’t a major issue for the team. For this reason, Vick’s situation and Philadelphia’s ultimate decision on the veteran doesn’t appear...

LeSean McCoy apologizes for Twitter meltdown

Philadelphia Eagles running back LeSean McCoy is known for his highlight stick jukability.  Unfortunately for McCoy, he couldn't escape from one of the most bizarre Twitter meltdowns we've seen from a professional athlete this weekend.  McCoy got in a VERY nasty spat with the mother of his child for all the world to see.  This included McCoy calling his "BM"...

Super buffet of puzzle pieces for Eagles fans...

It's Media Day for SB47 participants in New Orleans, which usually means 30 other teams in the league are scrambling to generate any kind of positive buzz they can for their own organizations. News items are rolling in on the Eagles as the organizational puzzle is gradually being solved. This is no time for me to try to be clever; I'll just lay them out there for the...
