Rookie offensive tackle Michael Oher paired with fellow tackle Jared Gaither in keeping NFL sacks leader Elvis Dumervil from padding his season total and generally had a solid day in the Ravens' 30-7 win against the Denver Broncos Sunday.
But Oher was guilty of a personal foul for shoving a Denver player after a Ray Rice run in the second quarter. That 15-yard penalty turned what would have been first-and-goal at the Broncos' 8-yard line into first-and-10 at the 23. The Ravens eventually settled for a Steve Hauschka 35-yard field goal and a 6-0 lead.
After the game, Oher had no argument with the call.
"I pushed a guy in the back, and they called it. You can’t take it back," he said. "It is what it is. Can’t argue about it."
