Bucs Beat:
Bucs coach Raheem Morris reaffirmed his faith in Preston Parker this week, even after the second-year receiver committed two costly fumbles on special teams at Jacksonville last week.
But when I asked Morris whether the Bucs will use someone other than Parker to return kicks and punts tonight against the Cowboys (which is what I have been told), he didn't exactly say no. Yes, it's true the Bucs have used Micheal Spurlock and Sammie Stroughter in addition to Parker on special teams, but Parker has been the primary punt returner for some time now. That does not appear to be the case any longer.
"We've always used all those guys," Morris said. "So, it's probably not really making a change. It's more giving those guys more opportunities."
Of course, the timing of those additional opportunities is almost certainly related to Parker's miscues last week. But Parker believes the problem can be easily addressed with a slightly different approach....

Raheem: Players Are Not Executing
Raheem Morris and the Bucs have lost eight games in a row now — half a season’s worth, finally passing that 0-7 mark he had in 2009 that no one ever thought he could top. Throughout this streak, he has said several times that he would not make excuses and has definitely done his share of introspection and pointing the finger at himself. But when it came to the Cowboys...

The "Raheem Morris is Gone" stories are flying now, fast and furious, from all directions. Martin Fennelly asks, where is Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik in all this?

Tampa Bay Buccaneers coach Raheem Morris has been under fire as of late as his team continues to struggle and he is definitely considered to be on the hot seat. While speculation swirls about Morris' future, the Bucs will consider hiring a defensive coordinator that would lighten Morris' load instead of firing him according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. Coach Raheem Morris Master Plan Beat Cowboys Save Job
It’s nothing like putting your coaching job on the line. Coach Raheem Morris is not running from all of the criticism and skepticism with his team out of the playoff race.
His plan is to beat all of the other teams remaining on the schedule this season, especially, if they have playoff aspirations. With Josh Freeman finally healthy, he wants to end the Cowboys season...
Latest Buccaneers Effort Should Seal Raheem Morris’ Fate
After a week of swirling rumors that Raheem Morris would be fired at season’s end the Tampa Bay Buccaneers could only do one thing to save their beloved coache’s job, win their next 3 games. Well on Saturday that dream was crushed and along with it Raheem Morris’ hopes to return as coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers next season.
From the start of the game the Buccaneers...
Morris Goes From Penthouse To Basement
A long time ago, members of the media couldn't wait to anoint Raheem Morris as the next great NFL coach. Now, he's fighting for his career, and his supporters have vanished. So much for becoming the next Bill Belichick. Morris reflects on childhood memories of the Cowboys as his career is on the brink.
Morris has his supporters
Two prominent announcers working Saturday night's game disagreed on whether the NFL lockout hurt the Buccaneers more than other teams, but Steve Mariucci and Randy Cross said coach Raheem Morris should be retained.
Bucs hope to make the most of final two games
On second thought, maybe trying to spoil the season of the Carolina Panthers Saturday is a more attainable goal for the plummeting Tampa Bay Bucs.
Playing that role against Dallas certainly didn't work out as intended Saturday night unless, of course, the Bucs' intention was to further spoil their own season.
They managed to do just that with a complete breakdown before...

It being Christmas time, maybe Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, having given a vote of confidence to his own head coach, Jason Garrett, could have given Raheem Morris one, too.
Bucs offense hits a low point vs. Cowboys
Quarterback Josh Freeman and the Bucs quicksand offense had very little chance of moving the ball against the Cowboys Saturday night.
After Freeman ran 25 yards for a first down on the opening series before fumbling the next play, Tampa Bay went three-and-out four straight times and trailed 28-0 in the first half.
The Bucs offensive line arguably played its worst game of the season...
